We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python expertise for a fully-remote role anchored to our Dubai HQ. You will own backend services across our SaaS platform serving customers across MENA, Europe, and Asia.
Our stack is Django and FastAPI on PostgreSQL, with services deployed on AWS via Kubernetes. You will lead architectural decisions for new product areas, mentor mid-level engineers across multiple time zones, and own one or more major service domains end-to-end.
We value engineers who can self-direct in a remote-first context, who write clear design documents because their teammates are asynchronous, and who model the operational rigour we want junior engineers to absorb.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Python experience with Django or FastAPI in production
- Strong PostgreSQL skills including query optimisation
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones
- Track record leading at least one significant architectural initiative
- Strong written communication for design docs and technical reviews
- AWS or equivalent cloud-platform fluency
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for assigned service domains
