We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our platform team in San Francisco. You will own significant portions of our AWS infrastructure including our EKS-based application clusters, our CI/CD pipelines, and our observability stack.
We run a 50+ service microservices estate. The role is about half hands-on engineering (Terraform modules, Kubernetes manifests, pipeline design) and half cross-team enablement (helping developers self-serve infrastructure responsibly through paved-road patterns).

Job Description
Requirements
- 5+ years of platform or DevOps engineering at production scale
- Deep AWS experience including EKS, RDS, IAM, and networking
- Production Terraform expertise including module design
- Hands-on Kubernetes operations including custom controllers
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Go
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (Argo, Buildkite, or similar)
- Production incident-response leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve our AWS infrastructure including EKS, RDS, and networking
- Design Terraform modules consumed by application teams
- Lead high-severity incident response and post-mortems
- Improve developer self-service through paved-road patterns
- Drive cost-optimisation initiatives across our cloud estate
- Mentor engineers on infrastructure-as-code best practices
