Job Description
A Caregiver provides personal care and daily living assistance to elderly individuals, patients, or people with disabilities. The role focuses on ensuring comfort, safety, emotional support, and overall well-being while helping clients maintain independence and quality of life.
Requirements
High school diploma or caregiver certification preferred
Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is an advantage
Basic knowledge of first aid and personal care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and responsible personality
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility support

Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Help with mobility, walking, and transferring patients safely
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health condition
Provide companionship and emotional support
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the client’s environment
Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
Accompany clients to appointments or outdoor activities if required
Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
Help with mobility, walking, and transferring patients safely
