Requirements
Education : High School or Diploma or above Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science
Experience : Steel or pipes factory
CSWIP 3.1 – Mandatory (must be valid and active)
5+ years relevant working experience, preferably in steel / fabrication / welding industry Experience in Pipe Manufacturing Industry
Language: English with Arabic and/or Chinese

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1-Conduct visual welding inspection for fit-up, root pass, hot pass, fill & cap.
2-Carry out dimensional, surface, and weld inspection of steel pipes according to ITP, MPS, WPS, PQR, and project requirements.
3-Verify welding consumables, heat numbers, and ensure proper storage/issue per standard.
4-Perform basic NDT such as thickness measurement, VT, and coordinate with NDT technicians for MT/UT/PT.
5-Prepare daily welding inspection reports and maintain proper documentation.
6-Mark and classify acceptable and non-acceptable welds.
7-Ensure calibration validity of welding inspection instruments and gauges.
8-Monitor welder performance and report welder failure rates.
9-Assist QC Engineers in preparing WPS, PQR, and welding repair procedures.
10-Ensure safe operation of welding inspection activities.
11-Report any non-conformance immediately and follow up corrective actions.
12-Attend client/TPI inspections and support final acceptance stages.
13-Maintain housekeeping of the inspection area and instruments.
