Job Description

Job Summary

The QC Supervisor is responsible for supervising and implementing quality control activities for MEP works on construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and applicable international and local standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all QC activities related to MEP works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical).
Ensure all installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Review and verify material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.
Conduct inspections and witness testing (ITP – Inspection & Test Plan).
Coordinate with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
Raise and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation of inspections, test reports, and quality records.
Monitor subcontractors’ work quality and compliance.
Ensure materials delivered to site are approved and meet project requirements.
Support QA/QC Manager in implementing the project quality plan.
Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, project specs).
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5–8 years experience in MEP construction, with at least 2–3 years in QC role
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and installation standards
Familiar with ITP, MIR, WIR, and QA/QC procedures
Good command of English (Arabic is a plus)
