Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Drone Operator to strengthen our operations in Vancouver, Canada. You will work with a modern stack, ship features iteratively, and partner with product, design, and operations teams. This is an on-site role, and you will be based at our office.

The successful candidate for this Drone Operator position in Vancouver, Canada will have a track record of shipping quality work, communicating clearly, and collaborating well with technical and non-technical teammates. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Drone Operator or in a directly related role
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Drone Piloting, Aerial Photography, DJI
  • Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Aviation Regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and deliver on committed timelines
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality work as a Drone Operator, from initial scoping through production release
  • Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional partners to define requirements
  • Apply best practices in Drone Piloting, Aerial Photography, DJI to build reliable, maintainable solutions
  • Participate in reviews, provide constructive feedback, and continuously improve team standards
  • Document decisions, patterns, and processes so they scale beyond a single contributor
  • Monitor outcomes, learn from incidents, and drive iterative improvements
